Going through the box of my recently acquired smithy I missing a gear or 2 to complete a combination of gears
I also had 2 gears loose teeth today.
I definitely need 2- 60 tooth , 2 -32 and a 27

If you know all the specs (pitch/module, pressure angle, width, bore, etc.) you could have them 3D printed in plastic.
Apparently some lathes now come with (at least one) feed gear in plastic as a "fuse" in case of crash.
They are reportedly quieter too.

Have you checked with Smithy about those? I'd ask them first

I searched out and modified a steel gear for my lathe and now want to print one in plastic just for the noise. The original one was steel center with plastic teeth and it definitely did it's job protecting the rest of the machine....

Looks like I have a bunch if throne reading to do on gears.
Found rushgear and they have a CAD type calculator but I now need to learn all of what you mentioned.
