What distance are you willing to travel to inspect/pick-up an attractive machine? Are you willing to freight a machine in, or only interested in "local"?
Driving wise I am limited to about 200 miles one way and will to do freight if I have someone that I can trust as far as the condition of the machine. I currently have a Logan 820 lathe, Burke #4 milling machine and Delta DP600 drill press and have completely disassembled, cleaned up, new bearing, and then enjoy using. I have also watched several disassembly/assembly videos and feel comfortable as to what to look out for along with reading HM posts and yahoo groups.
