Lathe manufactured around 1936. Catalog 92-E, Series "O", 16 inch.

Have been looking for a part of the apron in the clutch assembly called the Apron Worm Wheel. The teeth are chipped and the part needs to be replaced. We've looked on CraigsList and ebay for parts. No luck so far.

However, we have found a few complete aprons for a 16" lathe. But they all appear to be for a series "N" lathe. Would anyone know if a complete series "N" apron would bolt to and work on a series "O" lathe?

Good day .I can't tell you if the are interchangeable.
I do know the O is a single wall and the N is a double wall and that they use a different method of actuating the clutch.
Can you post a picture of the affected part.

Here's the part we're looking for. Hard to read this parts list...but it's number 77 - Apron Worm Wheel. Third from the bottom right on the parts list.

Thanks for your reply.
