That is some cool looking wood !! Very neat project! I don't think I have ever seen that wood before.

Still not back in the machine shop.
Was gifted some white pine logs, all I had to do was haul them home. The one butt log was 32 inch as the stump but HEAVY with all the rain we've been getting. My loader which will pick up 1200 pounds wouldn't budge it, so tried slinging it behind the forks.
Managed to get it high enough to move it but couldn't get it up on the mill. Dropped the forks and that bit of weight made the difference.
The full of the mill though.

These big logs are a bear to handle, but I reduced it to 29 - 1x10's and 6 - 1x6's. 217 board feet
