What size machinist level do I need?

Hi Mike - Points well taken. My main intention was to convey that when his 1127 shows up he can use it until/before he has a machinist level in hand. When I run across a good deal on a level I will buy one, I mean what else could I do ?

I have the 8" model from Shars. Its actually pretty well made. Only $65 so you can't go wrong in the home shop. Perfect size for a 12x36 lathe. I wouldn't wanted to have gone bigger. You only need one.
