Walter's Wish List

It isn't very big but the items on it are pricey!

Metal Brake - looking at getting the Iroquois Iron 24" Heavy duty one. Been toying with making my own, even went and got a chunk of 1" thick plate, but getting properly heat treated dies would be a bonus and it would last longer. that 4 way die they make looks very convenient. I would make extra top dies for different lengths

Tubing bender, looking at the Iroquois Iron set.

B&S dividing head the 9 inch swing as it uses the B&S #9 collets I already have for my B&S #13.

Lathe Dogs, beleive it or not after all these years I still do not have a set of them.

8" 4 jaw chuck for use on the rotary table, has to be plain back with through bolt design.

6 Jaw Chuck D1-4 Adjustable Jaw Style

5 C collet attachment for Gosan Lathe
5C collets in Square and Hex

Carriage Stops for Gosan, probalby get a few different types. both micrometer and plain

QCTP or extra holders for the QCTP I have. Leaning to switching to the Dorian QCTP and getting a bunch of holders for it.

Project list has a Tailstock Die holder to hold 13/16, 1, 1-1/2 and 2 inch dies

Otherwise when I am browsing through the tool Porn magazines, I do not get tempted very often.

Oh and a new truck! The POS that I am driving is on its last legs. Spent Sunday afternoon doing a curbside replacement of the radiator, fortunately the auto parts store was still open and had one in stock. Got it, and got violated in the process. it was one of those bend over and let me insert this, does it hurt, yes, oh good lets pound it in some more, moments.

Check the enco sales, the import brand goes on sale for $30, regular close to $100. US made are nice. Import works and won't break. Gibra... is probably something in between. I would gladly pay the import price for a used US set, but chances of running into that are fat. Unless there are religious issues with it, I wouldn't pay much more for US made.

The Gibralter is on special for $75, which isn't too bad.

The biggest difference is the parallels- import is $50 - $100 and US is 2-3x that much. I would definitely go for import there.

Best,

Nelson
