VN Vn 16s Rebuild

I have finally got around to tearing into the 16S I picked up back in January. The ram has about 2" of the dovetail damaged, probably from being picked up by a chain. It wont hurt anything.















Still a long ways to go.

I'm soooo jealous I would kill to have 16s but all of them are on the "wrong" coast

There a few here in the east , I see some once in awhile on craigslist. They seem reasonable in price. My only trouble , not able to go pick things up. Being disabled sure sucks when your use to being able to do everything on your own. I had one lined up but no help. Oh well , from your build I see why they're so good the machines are made to last forever. Nice job on the painting. Did you have to do any repairs or just adjustment s?
