Time for the "What is It " Game

Not sure what the second one is but quite a verity of other stuff, tooling

Machine Shop sell out in Suffield Ct. He has thousands of items listed on Craigs List. Gonna take a ride up there the weekend. He's saving that little gem for me to look at. He doesn't know exactly what it is for either.

The first pic is a radio. What is the second pic used for. Looks like some kind of watchmakers tool.

I don't have any idea, but I sure want to know the answer! Where is chips&more when we need him?

Edit: It says right on the listing:
E.O. Richter & Co Mechanical Dotted Line Pen,(c1841-1907), Vintage 60.00
Second edit: http://collectingme.com/drawing/Mechanical_dotted_line_pen.aspx
Third edit: Sure wish I lived closer...

That could be it Bob. The brass parts could be for dot spacing.

Wow, that's quite a collection of stuff. Wish I was a bit closer. :)

Yep, easy! It's described in the text below the photos.
Found a nice example:

Of course it's German.
I worked at an American engineering firm as a young'un, just before CAD and pen plotters. All our drawings were pencil... so-so quality, did the job. Sometimes we'd get part drawings from Mercedes-- all beautifully hand inked, wow! Even harder when you have to use "nibs" for your inking, like this gizmo uses.
