I have had this lathe for a few years.
I would like to try cutting some threads.
I dont have manual or any instruction sheets.
There is a chart on the side of the lathe that tells what gear settings to use for a particular thread,
but it is for metric threads.

I did some searching on the innertube (thats how I found this forum) I could not find any good info on this
particular unit.

I did read somewhere about metric or SAE leadscrewws???
I dunno...

Hello I had one of these years ago, I found the manual the other day I have no use for it It yours if you want it
PM me with your address and I can send it to you
As far as your question goes I honestly dont remember if mine had an inch or metric chart but inch is what my gut tells me. I wonder if there are any part #s on the lead screw.

The machine should be able to cut US threads also- are you sure the chart is only metric? Can you post a picture?
There should be two large gears under the cover on the left side of the headstock- those are your metric/inch transposition gears
-Mark
ps here is a manual that should be close- pictures are not great

There are a zillion threading videos on the innertube.

Silly me.
The inch chart is huge.
It is right on the front of the machine above
the quick-change gear levers.
DUH.
In my defense the inch chart says nothing about tpi or threading.
The metric chart around on the side at least has a picture of a threading tool and threads.
Thanks for the link Mark.
Thanks for the kind offer Steve.. Do you play badass blues on 3 string guitars?

First thread I've cut since the mid 80s...
I had to change up the gears.
All the info is right on the chart.
