The AE Bennett Specialty Mfg Co Scraper

Neat. Couldn't quite visualize how it would be held until I searched some more images. You figuring on making a new handle?

very cool,
i saw Roy Underhill on the Woodwright's Shop use a cabinet scraper when i was a kid,
i have wanted one ever since!

I used to do a lot of wood scraping never did like the finish which sandpaper provided.
You can also just use hand held scrapers. However, the handle is much easier on the hands!!

If you want any measurements or other details let me know.

Scrapers are often under appreciated. As Uglydog pointed out, they produce nice surface finishes. They're
also great for cleaning up messy glue lines or edges between woods of different densities. And, unlike a plane,
you can see what you're doing with them, so the provide good control when small amounts of material need
to be removed. They're also dead simple to sharpen.
