I am about to buy a small taig mill, but have recently re-arranged my work area. Can someone tell me the following dimensions? Just a rough estimate. I can't find the exact info online.

What is the mounting base like?
Width/Depth required?
Are the rear mounting feet in line with the back of the mill?
How high is the Z handle? Is the 21" overall height including the motor?

My new work surface is basically 17" deep up to a height of 18". At the 18" point the depth drops to 12" from the front of the work bench. Ideally the Z handle would also be at or below 19 3/8". I can hang over the front no problem, but want to make sure the mounting base can clear everything.

Thanks for any help from current taig manual mill owners.

Attached a photo of my dilemma.

I don't own one, but found a couple answers for you by looking at the part diagram at http://www.taigtools.com/mmill.html

•The mounting base is a set of three pieces of (steel?) angle, one in front (with the flat leg tucked in under the table) and two on either side near the back, flat sides pointing outward and sideways.
•The rear feet are a bit inboard from the rear of the mill

I'd suggest phoning Taig directly (480-895-6978). Just out of curiosity, I actually visited their factory (near my home in Tempe, AZ) once and found them to be a very friendly bunch.

PS - did you know that there's a dealer right there in Oregon?
