Steal of the day and some questions

I purchased a supply cabinet on eBay. I got 14 boxes of blade stock, from 3/4" down to 1/16". Most packages are 60 to 70 percent full. I also got a fence, 3 band filer adapters, and 2 sets of guides. My question is what are the 2 things in the 1st picture? I took a risk and got lucky.
