Mine broke. My lathe is MSC and I need the switch. Shan-Ho electric changeover switch Type AK. Please contact me asap of you have one. Thanks! image.jpg

Are you running on 120 volts or 240?
For 120 volts the 16 terminal unit would be a better choice
These new switches may require a few extra jumper wires- I can show you

120v. Why would the 16 terminal be better? I’m not savvy on electrical problems.
 
Gives more flexibility. 16 terminals = 8 poles= 4 double pole switches and you often need all 4.
The original switch is a dedicated type which simplifies the OEM install. Costly even if you can find one.
New switches are more generic and require a few external jumpers to do the same function.
