Again the problem is not getting rid of the weld. The problems once the weld is gone the outer tube won't quite slide over the inner tube.
Lots of good ideas here. Thanks for all the responses. Some require more tooling than I have or can afford - i.e. 20 foot jacks and large ovens to heat the tubing up ; ) . Since this material is already paid for its what I'll have to use. RJ, and sdelivery, I like the idea of drawing a mandrel through. I think I'll go with that method.
It is always the case that I have to make a tool to make a tool without the right tools to finish the project that seemed so simple in theory. Good thing I've got some time to deal with it.
