My today project was to make an adjustable wrench that would fit both 1/8 inch and 3/16 inch holes. It spans from about 1/2 inch to 3 inches
so will work for lots of hole spacing as well as two sizes of holes. The pins were made of some hard material machined to size and silver
soldered into position. Flipping the tool over allows one to easily change hole size.
It's about 8 inches long and made with mild steel with aluminum handle.
Here you can the two sizes of pins on the tool as well as showing it is adjustable. It looks like those holes on the crossfeed
have seen some use!
It was a fun morning project that I will find useful.
