SOUTH BEND 9C GEAR CHANGE PROBLEM

I don’t see a locating pin in the part’s breakdown.

Problem solved. I moved the headstock to the right and that solved it.

Moving the headstock would scare the bageezas out of me.
You have some aligning to do.

No you don’t. The headstock sits on the v-ways and is held in alignment by them. It’s American designed and built…not Asian.

Probably not. It most likely was moved back to where it was supposed to be. And the vees do help keep it in alignment.
