Hi. I’m sure there’s an easy way to find out, but I can’t seem to find it. How can I tell when my lathe was made? The serial number is 1973HKR8

Yes. It's not perfect, but it can get you within 6 months or so. IMO, paying $25 for a bad .PDF of your lathe card is not worth the money.

I agree. I had seen that list before, but didn’t really get specifically how to find my lathe. Now I get it. Thanks a lot.
