I need to reduce the O.D. of a large washer. I'm looking for some type of an inside
chuck that can be used in the lathe. Does anyone know where one can be found
or what one might be called.

The usual one is homemade. You take a bar of material, turn a step to accept the washer, drill and countersink the end then slot it twice for four slots. When you screw a flat head screw in the end, the thing expands to grab the washer. Variations- cut a taper on the base of a regular SHCS rather than the flathead to get more wrench grip. Put a few steps on it to accept several different size washers.
