Sidney 14" Lathe

I found out the allis chalmers tag is just for the motor and not a factory asset tag like i thought it was.

Just to update everyone on this lathe, I have been using it like crazy since I got it up and running a year and a half ago. I just finally got my buddy to make a half nut for me today, now I just need to go to the shop in the morning and figure out how to make it fit and work correctly haha. This machine works pretty damn good, just have a few little issues I need to tighten up but love making stuff with it. I have no clue what I am doing but I sure do enjoy doing it!
 
We have that same machine at work, been there since the early 40s. Pretty worn, but I'll take a .100 per side without much issue.

Probably a nice machine back when.

Was there a tailstock with it? Great looking machine. Gotta love the auctions. And also gotta love that your buddy didn't have a forklift. :)
