Newbie here. Impressive picture on todays craigslist Portland OR for Rockwell Lathe in Longview WA, just north of Portland. Cannot comment on the value , but I would like to see it sitting in my shop if it was bigger.

It's a Rockwell 10", it is a very nice lathe. I think it's a bit overpriced ($3500) for what's there. Probably worth under $1500. Here's a picture of one I'll be selling this spring for about 1/3 that price.

I live in the same area as visenfile, and lathe prices are high here: there was very little manufactering around here in the past, so it's a machinery desert. Still, that's a pretty rich price.
