Here are a couple kitchen knives I have done recently. The big one is about a 10" blade, made from banding strap and band saw blade, with spalted maple burl, brass and copper for the handle, the other is a vg-10 cored stainless blade with stainless bolster, purple heart and paduk handle, and aluminum rivets for balance

I keep trying to Thank everyone, and put up another photo, but the posts keep disappearing, so I'll try again. The dark spot in the middle of the blade is where I grabbed it with the tongs during the quench. It ended up a little softer there, and less resistant to the nitric acid and ferric chloride.
