We picked this up years ago at an estate sale as it looked interesting.

It is foot operated foot chopper/ sheer for cutting perfect meters on trim.

Trim and frames can be made with this.

It has the extension fence for supporting long stock.

Dusty with some minor surface rust and could use some cleaning up.

Blades are sharp.

Located in Central CA.

$300.00 starting price, local pickup.

Can provide additional photos as needed.

I'd be right over, but, that's a far swim.

Out of curiosity, what is the thickness capacity?

I would need to do some research on that.

In the photo it is a angled shear with a good sized tall side, frames and things go in at an angle.

Can measure it tonight.

It looks like you can change the miter to cut a 90* too, I'm thinking.

So we grabbed a handy board, firewood but for fit and photo.

The table on the top slides sideways so you can change the fence from straight to angled.

In the narrow position it fits a 3.25 wide board with the edge less than 3/4 thick.

The opposite side can be 6 inches tall so one could make substantial frames with this.

I will assume if one is cutting trim that is not supported it may need a backing to support it.

It has adjustable guides to hold things in place.

We planned on playing with it to make photo frames and other things but just have not had any time.

I know this is primarily for wood. Can it do duty as a sheet metal shear as well?

No clue, maybe aluminum, that will be next owner to decide.
