Has anyone got experience with installing one of the cheap generic AXA quick change tool post on a Myford ML7?

My concern is the minimum tool height of these tool post as the ML7 only has about 16mm from the top of the compound to the spindle centreline. Looking on Ebay most of the quick change tool posts seem to have almost half an inch of base below the dovetail, plus then another half inch for the bottom of the tool holder, plus the tool height (thickness), making the minimum top of the cutting tool too high.

The Bostar is the only one I can find which specifically quotes a "top of compound surface to lathe centre line" down to 0.6" which would just make it.

Anyone done an install and if so what make did you use?
