Power feed questions

I have a power feed unit on the X axis of my McLane mill. First I ever saw 220 volt. Seems the motor only runs in one direction. Anybody ever had one apart? If so any nfo assy drawings would be appreciated. If it is more trouble than it is worth I may just buy a new Align unit. here is a picture of it.
