Still waiting on a few things including a new air cylinder I ordered from fabco. I have to redesign my power drawbar and its still gonna be a tight fit :eek:. Let the shenanigans begin!

Small update, Got the 240v outlet installed and the vfd in a box with the main power hooked up. This project is already taking longer than I expected but they always do.

Still working on the upgrade. Milling a new cast iron pulley for the spindle. Slow going but accuracy is more important here.
I don't have a broach so I decided to make one out of tool steel on the 4th.

Spoiler the broach didn't work at all on the cast iron. It barely put a scratch on it.

Ok I skipped a bunch of stuff I'm not sure anyone wanted all the details but here is one of the first real cuts made with the new motor.
0.375 doc ,0.06woc ,8k rpm ,100 ipm
It barely put a load on it I can't believe the performance difference.
