My PM-728VT chip tray measures 21.4375" wide by 24.5625" deep. I was measuring the bolt holes from center to both edges of the 24.5625" depth. One edge to center of hole dimension is 3.25" and the other is 3.8125". Ok, so the mounting holes are not quite centered in the tray like they are on the width dimensions. So I'm wondering which dimension goes to the front of the mill with the Y-axis hand wheel and the back of the mill with the column? Does the front of the mill go with the 3.25" dimension or does the back column, or vice versa? The reason I ask is that I only want to drill the holes once in my new stand. Anyone know which orientation the mill should be mounted in the tray? Thanks.
