Pm 1228 Will Not Power Up First Problem

I am going to make a separate thread for problems, I have the lathe up on the stand cleaned up and ready to go, plugged it in to power nothing. In the manual it said to push the green on button, and the RPM display should light up, it did not. I checked for safety switches, only one I could find was on the back cover but cover was closed, I know I have power to the outlet, I was just pressing buttons and nothing. There is a switch 0 1 2 for lathe and milling attachment, it was on 0 in the middle, I turned that to 1 lathe rpm display went on. I tried to press the forward turn button nothing moved. I pressed the start button again display went out and now nothing. any one else had problems like this I will be sending an email to mat.

Sounds like a safety interlock somewhere

Found the problem has to do with wiring in the garage I will have to work on that

Check the interlock switch on both the back cover and chuck guard. The chuck guard switch was broken on mine (not a big deal since I took the guard off anyways).
