Plasma cutting table using a 55 gallon drum

Twenty five years ago I built this cutting table for use with one of my early pantograph machines. It could also be used for manual plasma cutting. The barrel collects the scrap, and should be dumped before it gets too heavy, which takes a long time. Here it is pictured with an ocy-acetylene torch, as low cost plasma cutters had not yet become widely used.

Although the I took the photo more than a decade before I sold the Torchmate company, it may somehow be their property so I credit them.
