This came from an estate but didn't have the bushing. Turned a bushing after i got home from work tonight and then mounted it to my lathe to test it. I hit the target dimension quicker than i anticipated so i didn't get a chance to use any emery paper to polish the part. I kinda like the piston style better than the wedge one as it works with the crappy import tool holders that are too sloppy on my wedge one. In addition the handle stays tight after you lock a tool holder on whereas on the wedge one the handle can move a bit back and forth without engaging the wedge so the handle can vibrate.
The tool post stud is M12 and that's common for lug nuts so i used the style with a built in washer and it worked great. I have this in the for sale section but i don't need 2 tool posts - i wonder which one i should keep. They both work equally as well.
