Orphan Cross Slide Identification

Hi,

This extra cross slide came with my package purchase of a Clausing 100 mkIII. It seems to be an accessory or the cross slide from a cheap lathe. Anyone recognize it? It seems a bit sophisticated to be shop made.

I would say that it is for a wood lathe

One odd thing is that the swivel slide is below the cross slide.
