Organizing, marking tool blanks

How do you organize, mark the different types/grades of tool blanks? Thank you as always

I use a paint marker and/or sharpie and write the steel type (i.e. 304, 1018, etc.) on the piece of stock. If it's small, wrap a piece of masking tape around it and right on that.
