Now that the mill is fixed maybe I can use it to build one out of steel! My buddy brought over some industrial epoxy weld that looked like JB and before we glued it we used Randy's suggestion and drilled and tapped a cap screw through the center. We slathered some cold weld on it, ran the screw in, let it set for 12 hours and threw it back in the machine. The saddle is running back and forth! I am going to let it sit over the weekend before I have the guys put the bed back on it but I think it is good to go! If it was going on a production line I would have bought the part for it but with a fixed income you improvise and most the time it works out!
