Went to a Woodworking show today to pick up some supplies because they are cheaper that way with no shipping and they usually have cheaper show prices. Well I got my sanding disks, and other misc hardware for woodworking, then found this at the back of the show on about 12 different tables. This guy had stuff he got from buying out businesses and estate sales. I think I came out pretty good with what I picked up.
Totaled $52.
Got a MT2 shank 7/8" adjustable reamer, MT2 3/4" still with the wax on it. 2 packs of 6" aircraft drills, 4 - 1/4 x 20 spiral flute taps. 7/16" spiral tap, 5/8 x 11 Spiral tap. 2 boxed sets of 3 - 5/16 taps, one of each type, a couple of machinist files and a chuck to go on the end of the shaft of my 2 x 72 belt grinder for a buffing wheel or what ever I can chuck in it. And 1 square head driver bit for my pocket hole screws.
Picked up a 1000 of the screws for $25.
Also picked up a new set of the Dewalt 20V MAX XR 5.0 Ah Cordless Lithium-Ion Hammer Drill & Impact Driver Combo Kit $250. Retail around $399. This set has the bigger 5Ah batteries. Most of them you see only have the 1.5 Ah batteries. My old 18 volt Dewalt batteries are getting where they don't hold a charge long. The sales lady also showed me an adapter that lets you use the 20 V batteries on the 18 Volt drivers. Might try to get one. They sold out of them the first day.
