Can't help with IWB, when I carried my 638, it was in a pocket holster.

My 642 is my EDC. I have a pile of IWB holsters in my gun room that didn't work for me. I finally found one that is nearly perfect for me, and surprisingly it is made out of a stiff leather. It rides low enough to get under the spare tire, and high enough to sit and drive a vehicle with only a slight adjustment.

For IWB I'd probably lean towards leather, or something with a lining. Kramer Leather horsehide holsters are awesome. Milt Sparks is another that you can never go wrong choosing. Both of those tend to be a bit more pricey, but fantastic quality. El Paso Saddlery is a bit less expensive, but still really nicely made.

I ordered a couple different styles yesterday. I'll see how they work out.
