Need Round Side Cover For South Bend 7" Shaper

If you have any delay in finding one, you can easily make one up from some polycarbonate. Pieces can be welded together with methylene chloride. It would be interesting to safely watch the internal actions through a clear cover.

I hadn't thought of that. It would be interesting, and I have laminated plastic together with MEK. I may try it, but of course keep looking for an original.

I think MEK is more hazardous than Methylene Chloride. Either one works the same way.
