A lathe from a semi and moved into my garage.
Anyone know someone around the Red Wing area that has a fork truck for hire or rental?

Sometimes they will unload it at the freight yard to your trailer at no charge. Might be easier and less expensive to rent a tilt or drop deck.

Ill look into it Daryl,
Thanks

May be too late for this:

If you spec. no fork truck on site, the delivery company will show up with a drop deck on the back of their semi and then use a pallet truck to off load on to the ground.

A fifty in your shirt pocket will help get it rolled into your building.

You may be able to add this option now.

PS if you do not have level concrete for the semi, you don't want to do this.

I did that with my mill but I was told for the lathe I need a fork lift to unload. The company delivering is Kaiser out of Wisconsin maybe Janesville. Still working on it.
