Need compound slide for Rockwell 10" lathe

Hi all,

I'm currently restore a nice 10" Rockwell lathe and need a compound slide. Unfortunately this part is missing on my lathe! I allready asked Joe Bergamo from Plazamachinery.com. He has a lot of parts but unfortunately no compound slide

Maybe someone here can help me to find one?

Could you post pictures of the mounting system for the compound? Does it use a circular dovetail or a few hold-down bolts in a T nut track? If it's the former an old SB compound might fit, and the ladder possibly a newer Asian lathe compound. Could you forego the compound entirely? Would be a bummer but would get the lathe in working condition.

Hi Andre,

of course I could use an old (modified) Logan or South-Bend compound, but I want to keep this lathe original (if possible). Do you maybe know the dimensions of the South-Bend 9" compound slide?
