My cnc Taig machine shop

Hello Chevy

Thanks for looking......The risers being there really hasn't changed anything for me machining
and the rigidity seems to be fairly tight still but most everything i machine is aluminum and I
don't have to get to aggressive with it . I have done steel pieces also with good luck .

I use indexable carbide tips machining everything - sharp bits = minimal pressure
and yes the risers are almost always there .

Cool! I have the risers for quite a while but never tried them out. I also use carbide and HSS indexable inserts and mostly work with aluminum.

My shop is also a Taig workshop.

Taig CNC Mill with Sherline rotary table
Taig manual lathe
Sherline CNC 4400 Lathe.

Very very nice setup. I had seen the video on youtube before I found this thread. If mine only comes out 1/4 as nice as yours, I'd be one happy camper. Great job.

Very impressive. Not just the machines but I like the layout of the work benches. Looks very organized and like everything you need is within arms reach.
