Vertical head is a fray.wondering about horizontal.looks like hardinge.has reeves drive but no levers like other hardinge I have seen.new hobby for me and my son.

Hi OJ , welcome to the site, old fray mills or heads on other mills are common . You will have a nice mill to start with , if you have trouble , lots of help from experienced men and some women on here. Your a bit north of me. But there's lots of good deals around your location. Some nice LATHES , mills even tooling listed in craigslist . Take pictures we love them some are even sceptical with out them . Your off to a good start , good luck with the mill , watch out the bug bites and you'll scratch it .
