Micro USB DRO

Hi All,

I’ve got magnetic iGaging scales on my lathe that have the micro USB connections. Does anyone know of a DRO that takes micro usb as an input? I’m looking for a bit more functionality than the basic positional readout that the readouts that came with the scale give.

Assuming for the sake of this thread that I’ve decided against touchDRO, otherwise it will derail the conversation I think.

Search for Micro USB to USB-A adapters/cables, and then adapter to go to DB-9

The iGaging capacitive remote-reading type of scales require an external power source. The readout box they include with their capacitive DROs contains the batteries, so power comes in through the USB cable. Something to check out before you go too far with your project.
