I'm new to this forum and I stumbled upon this thread about machinist abbreviations. As someone who isn't a machinist, I can't say that I use any of those abbreviations, but I can definitely relate to using some common internet slang like lol, omg, wtf, and jk. By the way, have you ever tried unscramble messages that are filled with abbreviations and internet slang? It can be quite a challenge, but it's also kind of fun to decipher what people are saying. It's amazing how much we rely on abbreviations and shorthand in our daily lives, whether it's for texting, emailing, or even in professional settings like machinist work.
