Looking For Info On Pm1340gt Taper Attachment.

I am hoping for some feedback from other PM1340GT owners who have purchased the taper attachment for this lathe. Mostly, was it worth the dollars invested and where there any issues getting it up and running.

I know that in my case I will have to re-do the DRO scale mounting as I used the same area on the carriage that the taper attachment mounts to but that's doable. Just looking for some comments from a user.

You might PM JE and see how his is working, I do not see any recent posts by him, but he did post his experience with the install. On some lathes it requires some mods to the splash shield because of clearance problems.
