Looking for Age of Horton 4 Jaw Chuck

I just finished mounting my "new" Horton 4 Jaw chuck and got to wondering just how old it might be.
Here is a picture of the label:

Don't get fooled by the socket head screw. That was my change this afternoon. This is what the chuck looked like in the original e-bay listing:

Note the nuts and the filister head screws. I tried to google the E Hotorn and Sons comany, but I have only found pretty sparse information. I did find patent applications from them as late as 1949. And it appears that they might still have been around in the 60's. I was just hoping that some tool junkie out there might have an old catalog or other information that could be used to give me an idea what decade this might be from.
