LatheMaster 8x14 Mini Lathe

Thanks for the info,is it tater salad ? any way I'll look around and see what others think on the quality of this little lathe.From what I've found so far it's it's up on the scale compared to others on the market. I like the 9 x 20 by lathemaster also. I am going to be brand new at this hobby so I want to make the right choice. I'm also going to need a small mill and I'm investigating that also.The one on the LatheMaster site looks good too.
I want to be able to build things like the steam engines from Stuart Models and the like.So my concern also is the size of the machines I purchase ie. not to bi not to small.I'm sure the 8x14 or the 9x20 are good choices for these size projects but the mill I'm totally not sure off. Any thoughts you have on the mill would also be apreciated
