I was recently fortunate to purchase a series of items from a retired tool and die maker. Some of the items were fixtures and jigs. I can't figure out what some of them are for, but this item the T&D maker explained to me. It is a jig for grinding lathe tools using a surface grinder. He said that he had shown it to several others and they had made similar jigs. I thought it might be of interest to some of you here who have surface grinders.
