Kurt chuck installation

I'm mounting a six inch Kurt vise on a swival base. What is the preferable lubricant to put on the mating surfaces?
Oil, grease or anti seize?

Hi Howard,

Personally I hate using grease for those type jobs because it collects chips.
I'd consider something like this:

I would think a light coat of Lubriplate 105 would work fine. The vise is more than likely going to see it's share of oil, coolant, and other grime accumulating substances. Just need to wipe them down once and a while. Mike
