I took on a quick job this weekend for my day job. We just started the first prototype assembly of a new design of a system that will go into production in the spring. When one of the mounting panels was being installed, we noticed interference between the standoff and a nearby pemsert on the panel. So, clearance needs to be made on the standoff. We don't have a shop at work, so it's either send out the part to a shop and wait for them to do it, or sending the job to me over the weekend. I setup this job for 10 pieces, and it involved milling down the diameter of the standoff from 1.48" to 1.000". This was fiberglas filled plastic, pretty nasty stuff to machine. The results came out really good. If you guys like the videos, let me know and I'll keep doing them.
