Hey killswitch,
a new lathe similar to it would go for about $3200 nowadays
i'd offer $2100 and see where it went.
if it were i, and it came with tooling and/or accy's i'd jump on it
those are dang nice lathes

umla, that’s what I offered we shall see!!!!

Mark, kinda makes me wonder

LMS, she looks brand new like it was crated yestday

A local hobby gunsmith passed away He was a veterinarian he graduated from Dartmouth!!! I was not prepared to see what I seen today. He was never marred no kids he had 110 firearms mainly high quality pistols!!!! Tool box upon tool box of just name brand tooling bison chucks back plates bison 5c collet chuck..... accu-finish tool grinder 3 or 4 progressive presses all set up for certain calibers all RCBS any freaking die you could think of I would say over a 100 dies in total calibers I’ve never even heard of some shotgun presses (2) super crazy!!!!! Reamers on reamers!!!!! Dovetail cutters anything everything for 1911s!!!!!

What is the estate doing with the pistols? I'd love to see / make an offer.

Love those 1024 size lathes, perfect for chambering through the headstock.

Good luck in acquiring it.
