I stumbled across this site while doing a little research on some old Snap-On tools that belonged to my
father-in-law.

Not a machinist tool site, these guys are interested in the history of many of the automotive and hand
tool companies from the early part of the 20th century like Proto, Snap-On, Armstrong etc. Interesting
for any of you folks that own older tools from companies like that.

Checked it out. Great site. Grew up with a mix of a number of these tools in my dad's tool box back in the50's.

Thanks for the link,
Dave

They have a good section on Walden-Worcester. Interesting to me because I remember the place well. It closed in the 1990s and now there's a McDonalds and a parking lot there.

I don't think I've ever seen a tool from Stevens Walden. Maybe they weren't distributed out here on the left coast?
