Info Needed On Zerks And Lube On My Mill

I have this Diamond horizontal mill and there are zerk fittings for the tapered roller spindle bearings- I don't know for sure but I believe oil not grease needs to be squirted in there periodically. Are there oil guns as well as grease guns? Or to put it another way, can you dispense oil from a grease gun? Of course I could be wrong and the bearings need grease after all... What's a mother to do? I don't have a manual for this beast.

I have put 30wt nd oil into small grease guns for lubrication purposes.
tapered roller bearings can be run in grease as well as in oil, temperature or specification may be factors to consider.
for a milling machine spindle i'd consider oil, 30 wt nd

Thanks Mike, I think this guy might actually take grease; I'm going to compare with similar horiz mills and see what they use.
